Unregistered SIL or digital platform provider?
Existing unregistered supported independent living providers, and NDIS digital platform providers, had to lodge an application by 1 October 2026 to keep delivering while they are assessed. Those who lodged now prepare for their registration audit.

Everyone else
The Securing the NDIS for Future Generations Act leaves any wider registration to rules that are not made yet, so for everyone else it is not an obligation today.
Questions providers ask first
Will AuditFit tell me whether my documents are good enough?
No. It shows where your documents seem to address each requirement and what looks missing, with the passage it relied on. Whether your evidence is enough is your judgement, and the auditor’s. AuditFit is not advice.
Do I need a registration consultant?
That is your choice, and AuditFit works either way. On your own, the Provider plan is yours. AuditFit's practice plan is built for consultants: they run it across their clients and hand you the report under their own name.
Where are my documents held?
In Australia, encrypted separately for each customer, and exported or deleted whenever you say. Any outside service that reads them is in Australia, gets them with names and contact details removed, and never keeps them or trains on them.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes: the free records check works from your answers, with no account. The sample report shows what reading a whole folder returns.
