NDIS audit evidence, found in your documents

This page covers everything: what you're buying, what we do with your material, how you pay, and where you stand. It replaces our separate terms, privacy, security and refunds pages. It's written to be read.

What AuditFit is

AuditFit reads a provider's documents against the published NDIS registration requirements and shows a registration consultant what it found, with the passage and the document it came from.

A report is a reading of documents, and it is not advice. Every position in a report is yours to approve, reject or edit, and yours is what the report says. Registration is determined under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's process, and nothing here changes that.

AuditFit is a registered business name, held on the national Business Names Register against an Australian Business Number. It is not a company: there is no ACN and you will not find one. These terms are between the business that trades under that name and you.

What you're buying

A subscription gives you a book of clients, document intake, requirement-by-requirement positions with evidence, the chase, and a readiness report per client that you can regenerate whenever the picture changes. The one-off report is that last piece for a single client.

Prices are on the pricing page. Payment is by card. Cancel any time; your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and there's no part-month refund. Buy the one-off report and we credit it against your first month, up to that month's price, if you subscribe within 90 days; nothing carries to later months.

The one-off report can be refunded within 14 days of buying it if it has not been generated yet; after 14 days, or once it has been generated, it cannot be refunded.

For 14 days from buying it you can add documents to the one-off report and produce it again. From then until 90 days after buying it, it opens and downloads but cannot be added to; then it is deleted.

If a payment goes wrong, email us.

Your clients' material

Documents you upload stay in Australia. They are held, encrypted, on our server in Australia. To read them, we may send their text to one processor under contract, Amazon Web Services in Sydney and Melbourne, with names and contact details removed first. Amazon does not store that text, does not use it to train anything, and does not share it.

We hold what you give us so the product can do its job: the documents, what we found in them, your decisions, and the reports produced. You can export everything held for your practice, in full, at any time.

Provider folders often contain material about participants. We'd rather not hold it and we don't need it, but it arrives when a folder does. Treat what you upload as though we will hold it, because we will.

If you leave

Cancel and your book becomes read-only for thirty days. Export works throughout, and we'll remind you before the thirty days are up. After that the data is deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

We don't keep your clients' material after you've stopped paying for a product that uses it. Holding it indefinitely would be the greater exposure, not the safer one.

Our backups are kept for thirty days and no longer, so a copy of anything we delete is gone within thirty days of the deletion too.

Your own details

We hold your name, your practice name and your email so you can sign in and so we can write to you about your account. We also hold the addresses of anyone you invite to your team or send an upload link to, a record of what we have sent you and whether it arrived, and any message or question you send us. All of it is deleted when your book is, with two exceptions. The record of your payments to us is kept for at least five years, because tax law requires it, and holds none of your clients' material. And if you ask us to stop writing to you, your address stays on our list of addresses we never write to, for good, so that the request goes on holding. We don't sell anything to anybody. We don't share your details except where we're required to by law and with the three services that run parts of this one: the payment company that takes your card, the mail service that delivers what we send, and the analytics service that counts visits to our public pages and is never shown the inside of your book.

If one of our free tools emails you its list, we keep your address, which tool it was, when, and whether you ticked the box for updates; we use the address for that one email, and for updates when the registration rules change only if you ticked the box.

Security

Your material is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is limited to what running the product requires, and we keep backups off the machine that serves you.

We don't publish the details of how any of that is built. A description of our security architecture is more use to someone attacking it than to you.

If something goes wrong that affects your material, we'll tell you.

When we're wrong

AuditFit will sometimes miss evidence that's there, and will sometimes report something as covered when it isn't. That's why every position is yours to overturn and why the report shows the passage rather than just an answer.

Tell us when we're wrong. Corrections go into how the product is measured, and they're the reason it gets better. When you confirm or reject what we found, we keep a record of that correction to check and improve how AuditFit reads. It holds the requirement, what we found, what you decided and when, whether you're a consultant or a provider, whether you added words and how long they were, and a fingerprint of each passage we quoted. It never holds a document, a passage's words, your words or anyone's name, and deleting the client deletes the only link back to you or them.

What we're responsible for

We'll provide the product with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for a registration outcome, an audit finding, or a decision you make using what the product showed you — those turn on your professional judgement and on the auditor's.

Nothing here takes away rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

Using it

Your account is yours; don't share your sign-in. Don't upload material you have no right to hold. Don't use AuditFit to do anything unlawful.

Changes

If we change anything on this page that affects you, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
